Makeup Trends for Fall/Winter 2014

I know that there is a question that's keeps you up at night. It's what you wake up thinking about, almost keeping you from doing daily activities because you need an answer to move on......

What are the makeup trends for fall/winter 2014????

Well, rest easy tiny dancer, because I have your answer. 

And the answer is quite refreshing. You might not believe this, but what is trending on Instagram is not what is trending everywhere else. Instagram artist (with no disrespect) a lot of times will show you something pretty, but not wearable. Not for the average makeup wearer at least, and even if you are a makeup artist, you wanna stay on trend. Maybe that's just me, and you... I think you.

The refreshing part of these trends are the minimal effort it takes to recreate them. This Fall/Winter is really focusing on the polished woman, the natural eye, the clean skin, the effortless beauty. Giving your skin a very REAL chance at looking beautiful. Scooping your cheekbones and having them act as a stage that displays your beautifully flushed cheeks. Having intentional mascara strokes as if to personally place each lash in its place and spotlight their volume and length. Giving your brows a break from the "beatdown" and letting them rest in their suggested shape. 

Fresh. Flawless. Earthy. Unprocessed.

Now let's move onto lip color trend. You now know how to wear your face and eyes, but what about your mouth piece??

Various colors of Orange.

Burnt orange, bright orange, coral orange, glossy orange. It is such a refreshing break from what we normally get during the winter. I LOVE this trend and I hope you find your perfect color to wear for yourself.
