Downturned eyes

On my last post I asked you if you could determine what eye shape I have. If you guessed down turned then you guess correctly. I realized most of you wouldn't really wanna say downturned cause it sounds straight rude right? But the most you know your eye then the better you will be able to compliment them. I also realized it would be harder to tell since I already do my makeup to upturn them. So.... sorry.

Downturned eyes are also referred to as "Bedroom Eyes". You may recognize the term from the astoundingly gorgeous Marilyn Monroe. Her eyes are a true part of what took her look from playful to bombshell. Well that and her makeup artist. When her makeup artist finally came out and spilled his secrets it would surprise you what went into such an effortless look. He knew that playing up the "Bedroom Eyes" would work to her advantage. By playing up I mean this:

That damsel in distress? That sex pot? Yea, it was created. And whose to say her career didn't flourish because of it.

Enough about her, what about you? If you have down turned eyes then follow along.

Please pardon the dorky look, I just simply do not know how to be serious.

I did this look to mimic Marilyn. The more you want to upturn your eyeshape the more upwards you woud take your winged liner. A cat-eye is something that someone with downturned eyes can always appreciate because it pulls the eye upwards. Something also to utilize is a white eyeliner. It opens the eyes and makes them appear more awake and alert. With bedroom eyes they do appear to be tired-ish and well dammit, I just not tired yet.

If you have any questions or success stories about how this worked so well for you, please share. I love to hear from all of you.

Cheers!
