Jared Hayes
Had a really great shoot today with Taylor McCutchan (www.taylormccutchan.com) at our local MLK park. Why is it that every MLK park I have been to is always scary? There were like 10 year old kids running around cussing each other out, it was odd.
Anyways, Taylor and I had discussed a while back that we needed to include more ethnic beauties in our shoots because our ports are full of too many white people. We want to incorporate the beauty of all worlds. So today we planned a shoot with my good friend Jared. I met Jared a little over a year ago and he has a very booming personality. He is constantly laughing and goofing around so we thought it would go perfect for the look we were wanting.
We were limited on time so I didn't get to do his makeup until we reached the first shooting location. I started quickly evening out his skin with my Bobbi Brown foundation with a Smashbox foundation brush and after I did a few swipes across his face I was seeing a sparkle back at me. I looked over and over and then looked at my belt and saw that a brush I had used to apply glitter with was right next to my clean brush that I was using... hahaha. It was pretty funny at first because I thought what a drag queen I was to have brushes covered in glitter when I am trying to do a simple lifestyle shoot. So anyways, I had to take off what I had done, re-clean the brush and start over. Not that big of a deal. Just ended up doing some skin coverage with the Bobbi Brown and then some light touch ups with the MAC blot powder. Overall his skin was very nice and I didn't feel the need to do much contouring on his cheeks because they were already so sharp.
Here is a preview of some of the photos.......
