The Lastest Brow Raising Trend
Living in Los Angeles and working in the beauty industry, there are a lot of expectations to stay caught up on trend. Especially since my passion is for the fashion AND beauty industry. Meaning, I am working on mostly fashion spreads and photoshoots of many sorts, so staying in trend is not only helpful for me, but the photographer, the model, the magazine spread. You get it.
Well the way I like to stay on top of trend is having subscriptions to all the great fashion magazines. You know, Glamour, Lucky, W, Cosmo, and a few others that are slipping my mind. As I flip through these pages I am either delighted or absolutely devastated at the makeup. Sometimes it is the makeup artists fault that I am so upset but then the other times..... its the trends fault. I talked about the "nonexsistant eyebrow trend" a few months back and you can find that post here: Oh Dear is she not wearing a brow?
But this is the new trend I am seeing now. The "Brushed Up Brow"

Would you ever do this look? Tell me your thoughts. Your real thoughts.
I think it is so wearable in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th photos... But the other photos are a defined look and to me they don't read as ugly, just as high-fashion or avant garde. In terms of editorial or runway fashion makeup, I think it is a more flattering trend for the model's face than the "no brow" look!
