Oh dear! Is she not wearing a brow?
I was doing some light researching in the newest (heaviest) Vogue magazine and found myself wondering where all the brows went? Brows have been such a fun part of fashion and makeup. You can have a square brow, rounded brow, long, short, high, low but no brow?
For someone like myself who has blonde brow hairs, I find that this trend relieves me of 10-20 minutes of drawing on my brows when I get ready in the morning... or afternoon, lets get real. So needless to say, I am in 100 percent support of this look and I think that I will be the first to take part in this look transferring from the runway/magazine to the streets. It is only my civic duty to make sure this town stays in trend right?
As you can see from the images, they are not just going "light" on the brow but making it disappear all together. I now ask the question "how?". I know that in makeup school there were many ways the instructors were telling us to cover a brow, but in these certain looks, it appears as if they have made the brow white or blonde. If any of you have attempted this look, I would love to hear about it. I can take my guesses of what they had to do to get this look but I highly doubt many models are truly down to get their brows bleached blonde.
In a total non bias review, I say I like this look. Its so different then what we are used to and just like the winged liner might have been difficult to accept at first, it is now one of the most requested liner to learn and wear. I tip my hat to these makeup pioneers and I hope to not only join in but encourage the outreach of creativity in our beauty routines. So I say we set fire to these restricting brows and go browless! Who cares if they stare? Excuse me, my eyes are down here!!!
Cheers!
